Full Page Screenshot ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that lets users capture webpages as full-page screenshots, visible-area screenshots, or selected-region screenshots.

Privacy at a glance: The Extension does not sell, rent, or share users' personal information. Screenshots are processed locally in the browser unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise and the privacy policy is updated.

1. Information We Collect

The Extension does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information, passwords, payment information, health information, location information, browsing history, or personal communications.

2. Webpage Content and Screenshots

The Extension accesses webpage content only when the user initiates a screenshot action. This access is necessary to capture the visible page, determine page dimensions, scroll the page, and create a full-page image.

Screenshot data is processed locally in the user's browser and is not transmitted to our servers by the Extension's current functionality.

3. Local Storage

The Extension may use Chrome's local storage APIs to save extension preferences, capture settings, and other configuration needed for the Extension to function. This information remains on the user's device.

4. Permissions

The Extension requests only permissions needed for its screenshot functionality. Active-tab and scripting access are used to capture the webpage after the user initiates a capture. Storage permissions are used for local settings and capture-related configuration.

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. The current version does not upload webpage screenshots or webpage content to a remote server.

6. Advertising

The current version of the Extension does not inject advertisements into webpages and does not use webpage content to build advertising profiles.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the Extension and avoid unnecessary collection of user information. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at collecting personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If the Extension's data practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those changes are introduced, as applicable. The "Last updated" date at the top will also be changed.
